This is another photo motivated by trying to pay different attention– these are about looking more closely at some of the things in my immediate surroundings– I tend to look past them into this virtual world, or out the window.
Since I know this, I decided to take this opportunity to just reconnect- look at what is nearby, yes, the messes, the piles, the evidence of house into apartment…. but with a specific goal of looking for things that interest me visually. Some of these things are just things. Some of them, like this one, I really like. It is a different kind of beautiful.
