Intentions

Thanks to Creative Living Experiment:

I hope to slow down and pay attention and not be all wrapped up in worry

I hope to spend more time outside, even if it is just to stand and breathe, or stare up at the sky, or listen to the leaves rustle
I hope to pay closer attention to my body– not as I want it to be, but as it is– what it needs right now in spite of my agendas
I hope to write more from the heart and less from the should-y place of rationality
I want to play as well as work
I want to give myself permission to make messes in the act of creation
I want to take a moment when I sink into bed, when I am still enough so my body’s outlines fade, to just soak up the deliciousness of flannel sheets and a blanket
I want to remember just how good it feels to be fed- full with love and creativity
and
with that remembering, to move toward/open and allow more
